Wurzburg’s a really pretty town with some surprisingly cool clothes shops. The show was shoulder to shoulder, we were told to expect 3500, almost 500 squeezed in. Late night and apart from some very dodgy soup (Liz and I were throwing up back at the hotel) from backstage catering we had a good night in Wurzburg. RSF x

| I'm in a hotel room an hour outside Berlin.
The movie channel is showing Love Vegas with Diaz Cameron.
Some lame dick somewhere probably in LA has bothered to hire a director, script writers,countless over paid crap actors, lighting,make-up,etc etc etc and spunk a load of money on this pointless, rom-com, purile shite.
Not only that they then add insult to injury and distribute it to a bunch of hotel chains so some sad fucker like me who's surfing for some pre-show entertainment spends his hard earned money on their over-priced pay per view.........porn........I should stick with what I know.

| Today we have a late flight to Varna Bulgaria for a two day TV shoot for RTL Germany.
It's very cool EMI and RTL have squeezed us in at the 11th hour for some early promotion
for the new single 'Sexy Bum' and also to perform some of our Big Hits.

| The show last night was alot of fun and the audience gave us an amazing reception.
The people we've met in Sofia have made us feel so welcome, it's our first time here and we really hope it's not our last.
It's a beautiful morning so after breakfast we're going to be tourists for an hour before we make our way back to London.

| This week were in Frankfurt Germany recording with Nosie Katzmann which was a blast.
We're still dismantling our studio bit by bit which seems to be taking forever and we're now down to the short strokes with our new record deal negotiations.
This weekend we fly to Hamburg (one of our favourite cities) in Germany for a Radio show gig and press conference and then we get to go out in Hamburg..........excellent..!!
Sunday we fly back for a show in the UK.

| Today we're seeing our lawyer to discuss contracts, we're trying to avoid signing an 'old style' record deal, it's not that easy but we are getting there..!
Some of the labels we've had meetings with are so out of touch, looking into these people's eyes you can see how the music business has got into the mess it's now in. They want to blame the downloads but they should look closer to home.
We had a 2 hour meeting with a well known record label and they didn't talk about music once.
No passion = No profit. |

 Merry Xmas Everyone!
Well as 2008 steps aside to greet 2009 we get that dubious window of opportunity to reflect back on this year.
Personally I have found 2008 a real bag of mixed blessings.
On the upside our mum’s health has greatly improved, we are no longer signed to Guy Holmes at Gut Records, we met some great people along the way doing shows in all four corners of the world, Elisabeth and Anna are welcomed additions to the ‘RSF massive’.
Sir Ian Blair is no longer head of the Met Police and the US proved it’s self to be more progressive and forward thinking than the UK can only dream of by installing Barack Obama as their next president.
On the down side the banking community have shown their true colours, the UK still has Gordon and his morons in No 10, Baby P is the tip of the iceberg, you can still drive a truck through British Justice and Take That have released another cd.
We’d like to take thank everyone for their continued support and we wish you all a healthy and happy 2009.

Last Thursday and Friday we were in Paris for meetings and were also invited to see Kool and The Gang at The Olympia. They were really slick and as you'd expect the set was knee deep in hits. It was great to see an audience just having fun, none of that GQ- Mercury Awards-to-cool-for-school-luvvy bullshit that we seem to suckle on in the UK ............. Paris is such a great city for wandering and people watching,we pottered from one great corner cafe to another then had lunch at The Vaudeville. Back to reality on Saturday, we jumped in the band bus and went up to Birmingham to perform at Nightingales. Simon and the rest of the management took really good care of us and the crowd were fantastic. Also Georgina who manages an RSF fan page on Facebook brought some friends along and it was nice to meet them all for the first time. RSF x

Life’s Strange Over the last week we've met an interesting array of people. On Wednesday we were invited to The Volstead in London by some geezer called Johnny Ikon (yes our thoughts entirely)for the opening of new club night or whatever it was. Although he had emailed us several times with an invite when we arrived he completely ignored us, cities are full of these dickheads so we left there asap with Julian a mate of ours and went to a club where promoters know how to make an evening kick-off. Thursday we played at the Albert Hall, met some very cool people, Michael Caine, Johnny Vaughan etc and had a good show and a good time. Johnny Ikon please note.......... Michael Caine = very nice and very famous......... Johnny Ikon= not so very nice and most definitely not very famous. Saturday we were with a film crew all day in mayhem central, otherwise known as Butlins.......... now they really do know how to have a good time..........as always they treated us really well and it was good to be back there. This morning Richard and I flew to Hamburg from Heathrow Terminal 2.
Dutifully we took our essential items from our hand luggage and put them into the clear plastic bag provided at the check-in.
We weren't allowed to take on board books, papers, mobiles, glasses case or drinks etc etc.
What was very confusing is that you can buy all these items airside and take them on to the plane.
The airport staff and the customers seem resigned to this schizophrenic approach to security.
When the chain of command is as inadequate and unreliable as we currently live with in the UK this will inevitably filter doen to an ever growing cynical and sceptical British public.
As a UK citizen we really do deserve better.
